Our God's Gift

Blessed Chirstmas and blessed 2010 Tristan!
Our 1st Christmas Day celebrated at Trinity @ PL with the carole. He enjoyed himself so much !
Also received many lovely gifts.

Our 1st new year was spent at Chor Chor's Place.

Happy 10 Months to Tristan !

Tristan just now finally clapped his hands palm - to - palm style. 1 week ago he started to clap when i mentioned the CLAP word. However he clap so differently from us. He does it with a palm and another fist. haha..

He is trying to climb from the floor to the bed.
He loves doing funny faces now. and the Smooching sounds.. ( all thanks to me )

Food wise: he is still on 2 porridge the lunch and dinner with 1 or 2 servings of fruits daily.

Bowel: Still not regular but i will press on to monitor.

Swollen Lymp nodes: The left on the back of his neck has come down.. not so swollen. But the right side is still quite bumpy. Sometimes bigger, sometimes subsides a lil. Continue praying about it.. Will monitor too... In fact we monitor daily.

Sleeping Habits: I have tried the Put Down Method by Tracy Hoggs. As according to her book The Baby Whisperer.

Started it out few nights back, in less than 20 minutes Daddy chased me away.
After hearing from my friend Hazel again, (the one who shared with her experience and success story, she read the book not me. ) I tried this morning with couple of prayers.. Read Hazel's Blog here on her sharings..

Tristan woke up at 6am with cheeky face refusing to sleep even after i latched him. So i thought this is the best time to execute since daddy and my parents are not at home to intercede.

the beginning, he rubbed his eyes, scratched his head quite alot.. and i simply put him down.
He started crying .. I told him sleep baby.. Sleep now and we shall play later. But he refused.
So he stand up and i put him down again.. then he started to cry even louder and roll around me.. Esp near my breasts hoping i will latch him on. The whole process took us 1hour. In between, there's a couple of times he slowed down, stopped crying like as if he's going to fall asleep anytime soon. But suddenly, he sprint alive again to cry! so i hugged him tight and he breaked free from my hugs and cry again.

I was a lil desparate and i prayed again.. And out of the blue i sang Twinkle Twinkle lil Stars to him repeatively plus hugging him.. and from loud to soft and softer tone.. During this, his cries was milder as compared to the earlier ones. and he Stopped for quite a while and cry a lil and finally he stopped and fall to sleep till now. 8:52am.

I really hope that daddy and my parents later will not step in to destroy the lil bud of our sleeping project.

We badly need to wean off each other from the breasts asap!
