Cord Blood Stem Cells Banking

Im thinking should i or should i not store my baby's cord blood stem cells with the private banks available in Singapore?

If yes, then which should i choose?

For your info, in Singapore we have Cordlife and Stemcord, 2 private cord banks.

Cordlife is accredited by ABBA.
Store baby's cord blood in 1 bag, 1 location.
Using Sepax technology. - add in $100 -

Stemcord store baby's cord blood stem cells in 2 bags and store in 2 different labs in Singapore.
First in Singapore.

If i am not going to store it privately, i should be donating it away to SCBB - Singapore Cord Blood Banking.

I should have settle this before pregnancy kicks in 28 weeks.

Cause' anytime from now on i might be delivering. And i will need the collection kit ready when baby is born.

Next, coming up there is this Baby Festival Event on 27 Feb to 1 Mar 2009 at Singapore Expo.

Don't know if i can attend it or not by then. lols.

From what i know, Cordlife will be there for exhibition. But don't should i risk and wait till then i go attend. Moreover, now Cordlife's CNY promotion is ending on 09 Feb 2009.
