Mommy Loves Tristan Ho

Need me to say? of cause i love you tristan. :)

Very soon, he is going to turn 3 months' old. - oh how time flies -

Now he's need people attention, need us to play & talk to him.
We can no longer keep him lie on the bed liaos..

Now he can play with megan's playgym and his rocker. When he cries very loud, i would use a butterfly rattle and shake it very hard to attract his attention and he will stop. how cute !

Juz some back dates to enter if not i will probably forget about it..

- he took his 6 in 1 jab @ 2 months' old. waited very long at the PD clinic. we took him to the only PD available in Tampines.. Baby & Child Clinic. His PD over there is Dr Loke.. Hopefully, by the next jab (July 09) they have set up the CDA Nets payment system. Otherwise i probably bring Tristan to another PD @ Bedok - Kidslink for his jab since I can utilize the CDA to pay for his Jab. :)

- his neckfold and behind his ears is reddish most of the time. There was once it was quite serious until it look very RED and painful.. so Dr Loke prescribed a cream for him to apply. It then recovered very fast. But hor, the cream has a lil bit of steroid. so now, i use Aloe Vera Gel and California Baby's Calendula Cream on him. Shall update again see which is better.

- During my school days (mon n wed weekly) i will let him have my EBM but if not enough for him, my family members will make FM for him. Currently he is on Similac occasionally like one month 2-3 times only. I will try my best to give him EBM. But sometime, im just too stressed up until there's no milk after pumping for 10 over minutes.

- Baby Tristan had his 1st Swim on 5th May! yes haha. hubby and i bought him to Hwa Xia @ PS to swim. Apparently he enjoys it so i signed up the package right away. Well, if you ask me is it abit waste $ then i have to say from my perspective i honestly think is not. :)

- I bought a pikkolo carrier (soft structured carrier) so that i can bring Tristan out of my own. It is costly. but as i said, i think such money is worth spent. At least, temporarily it is.

- Baby Tristan is putting on weight consistently. And im so glad to know that he's growing well under the care of me.

- Nowadays, i just love bathing him and doing body massage for him after each bathing session. And he really enjoys it. Because most of the time when i massage for him, he will laugh and smile to me. I truly second that bathing your own baby is the time to bond with him/her. Of coz , there are many other ways to bond with them..

- Cradle's Cap -> 1 of the reason why babies end up Botak. Tristan has slight Cradle's Cap. So most of the time, before his bathtime I will apply Olive Oil on his scalp to soften his Cradle's Cap and 5 mins or so after I will use a small comb to brush through his head lightly. And the flakes will come out easily. There was once i thought his cradle's cap is gone for good and i stop doing this for 2-3 days and it came back.. :( so mommy can't be lazy now i do it everyday. Oh can apply Calendula Cream on it too. Will try on him..

- 2 Weeks back, Tristan and I went to a Forum mommy's place (sassybaby). And we met up with 30 mommies and 30 babies. Really enjoyed the session with them.

- Tristan is able to sleep through the night! I try my best to set a routine for him.. EASY Method. Eat , Activity(Play), Sleep, You (my time alone). But hor, is really not easy larh. Sometimes his EASY is mix up one. He would example start from Activity, Eat and Sleep.. haha. Whichever ways, as long as he can sleep through the night i already very satisfied. This week he will wakes up around 9am. What a early bird right. =)

- This Week , he start to looks @ his fist. He will raise one of his hands up in the air and look at his clenched fist. and Hubby will tell me ' now tristan knows he has hand liao' hahaha. Not only that, i saw him holding to one of the softtoy that is hang on his rocker. Im so happy to see his progression bit by bit.

Some thoughts:
Certain days im really tired with looking after Tristan at home. He is a happy baby but of cause there are days where he will be moody too. I just hope i can carry on to shower him with my love and to able to understand his cries soon.

For now, with the H1N1 virus stepping in Singapore I will try my best to reduce going out with Tristan. Meanwhile i will pray for everyone's health and those who are affected to recover soon..
